I cannot believe we are now in 2022! My oh my how time flies. This is the final semester of my master's degree and also my final internship placement. This is a very exciting time as I prepare to graduate, look towards taking the CPCE, NCE, and Praxis and think about these upcoming life changes.
This semester for internship I am at a private elementary school in Morristown, TN. It is a small school serving Pre-K-5th grade students. Today was my first day and I am very excited to see what this semester holds!
My academic semester begins on the 17th. This term I am technically part-time, only needing the internship III course as well as a course in Career Counseling. I am very excited to learn more about career counseling. I did a great bit of this during my high school internship placement, but am looking forward to learning in-depth information as well as associated theories. I have found that I greatly enjoy life/career counseling so I look forward to learning more and continuing to build this tool!
As I look towards this final semester I am so thankful for all I have learned and the ways in which I have grown throughout this program. In upcoming posts, I hope to dive in and reflect the ways in which this program has impacted me. So excited to see what this new semester brings!
