Behavioral Workforce Project
Project conducted through UTK Center for Behavioral Research and the TN state department.I was invited to collaborate on this project. I provided a video interview and information related to the school counseling profession career for the development of presentations for high school students introducing them of various opportunities within behavioral health field .
Project Rural Recovery
Project Rural Recovery provides mobile clinical and mental health services to rural counties in middle and east Tennessee. This project is through the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services in conjunction with Buffalo Valley (middle TN) and McNabb Center (East TN).
Contact Care Crisis Line/ National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
I volunteered answering crisis calls, providing wellbeing checks, and providing callers with connections to community resources as needed. I underwent extensive suicide prevention and crisis intervention training and active listening training.
James A Haley Veteran's Administration Hospital
I volunteered at this Veteran's Administration Hospital in the Emergency Department. I helped patients navigate the hospital, restocked supplies, prepared rooms for patients, developed community with patient and family, and worked with nurses and doctors as requested.
